APPRECIATION MESSAGE FROM JOE AGI.SAN

APPRECIATION MESSAGE FROM JOE AGI. (SAN)

I write to appreciate every party man and woman who came out to vote at our primaries!

I thank you for your trust and confidence which you clearly expressed by voting massively for me!

I assure you that your votes and the support you so manifestly expressed for me by turning out enmasse, will be amply rewarded as we march, by the special grace of God into the hallowed Senate Chamber!

I urge you all not be distracted by anyone’s antics! By the grace of God, we will foist the APC flag in the senate for our Senatorial District, thus taking our people into the mainstream of Nigerian politics. That way, we will bring home, all the patronage and infrastructure that our people desire!

As for my worthy opponents and their supporters, I urge all to close ranks with me so that we can as a united party, win the forthcoming general elections. The senate is an elephant and as our people say, there will be enough for everyone!

My profound gratitude goes to all party men, party officials, my coordinators as well as other stakeholders who made a the primaries both successful and peaceful.

Let all party men and women be assured that I am the winner by the votes you cast, and I have been so declared by the Committee which the National Headquarters mandated to conduct the primaries.

Once again, thank you and God bless!

Long live Northern Cross River

Long live APC

LONG LIVE CROSS RIVER STATE.

JOE AGI, SAN!

APC Candidate for 2020 Senate By-Elections, Northern Senatorial District, CRS

DOES THE CATHOLIC CHURCH ALLOW PREGNANCY BEFORE MARRIAGE?

BY REV Fr Ojo Joe. Let me quickly say the simple answer to the above question is no. But then, how come we see, many times wedding celebration of couples who are pregnant or have even given birth in the Catholic church? The answer to this question forms the basis of this write up. Since this article is meant to answer non catholics who want to know about catholics and catholics who want to know more about their Faith, I have taken for myself the authority of Jesus as written in the scripture only, that we all may come to know that, such wedding is not abomination to God, but a healing for damage of sin already committed. The Catholic church preaches strongly against sex before marriage. In fact, it is wrong for a man and woman to live together if they are not married. So if sex is a sin before marriage, then there should not be pregnancy in the first place. But then if the couple, for any reason we know not, had sex and it leads to pregnancy, The Church is careful not to give penalty t

PAYING GOOD FOR GOOD. BY HON. GABE UGOR

TO THE MAN, JOE AGI. THE RIGHT TIME TO REPAY GOOD FOR GOOD.  Sometimes back in year 2010, one of the toughest primaries was held to pick the Chairmanship candidate to fly the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Yala Local Government Council.  Yala was polarized with two powerful political factions. On one side, was Hon Gabe Ugor (Yache Ward) as aspirant and Mr. Godwin Odama (Gabu Ward) on the second divide. The magnitude of the preparation for the primary election was so tensed that the entire Yala LGA was frozen below zero degrees. It wouldn't be necessary to mention the names of the political heavyweights supporting these aspirants then but of importance, was simply the fear of uncertainty and anticipated violence that gripped Yala LGA. Indeed, many political pundits described it as the "Clash of the Titans).  However, with the tensed atmosphere then, the primary election venue was shifted to Calabar for fear of violence Yala was known for in the time past.  At
