  BREAKING: President Buhari Replaces Service Chiefs Channels Television     Updated January 26, 2021  According to reports from Channels News Media: President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted the immediate resignation of the Service Chiefs and appointed new officers as replacements. The new Service Chiefs are: Major-General Leo Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General I. Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff; and Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao, Chief of Air Staff. This was announced on Tuesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina who noted that the service chiefs have also retired from service. Those involved are the Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen.  *POPE FRANCIS APPOINTS BISHOP KUKAH MEMBER OF THE DICASTERY ON INTEGRAL HUMAN DEVELOPMENT, VATICAN CITY*  According to Rev. Fr Christopher A. Omotosho who is the Director, Social Communications of Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, having it's address at St. Bakhita Catholic Secretariat, No. 2 Aliyu Jodi Road, Sokoto, Nigeria.  Fr Omotosho stated that the Holy Father Pope Francis has appointed His Lordship, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, Bishop of the Diocese of Sokoto as a Member of the Dicastery for the Promotion of Human Integral Development.
